About Wilson TEK

In the 1960's, an aerospace engineering company named Tek Corporation was founded in Brazil, IN by Clyde Wilson and a business partner.  In 1967 Clyde bought his partnerships and re-branded Tek Corporation into Wilson Tek.  Wilson Tek's new focus was to consult, develop, and produce solutions for other manufactures and corporations.  Through this research and development several products  were produced that are still in use today: Patent 4080140 and Patent 4113813. Wilson Tek even had the honor of building NASA one of the landing shoes for the first lunar lander.  In the 1980's through the economic crisis of that decade Wilson Tek closed it's doors.

Fast forward nearly twenty years.  After working in food service refrigeration for several years Brian Wilson, the grandson of Clyde Wilson, decided to incorporate full line equipment sales into the structure of the currently operating business.  Which includes all types of restaurant equipment and wares.  In little less than two years the business grew from servicing the Brazil and Terre Haute area to well over a 60 mile radius from our main shop.

How this was done in such a short period of time was through one simple concept, "Stay Local, Buy Local , and Serve Local".

We strive to deliver real customer service and real support throughout our support area. This is done by  encompassing a 24 hour a day, seven day a week, 365 days a year approach to customers.

In 2003, Wilson TEK realized a need for local businesses. We are now proud to offer extended support to restaurants, diners, schools, grocery stores, convenience stores, and bars / pubs. Whether you need ice machines, prep tables, or dinnerware we sell it all.
